Executive Industrial Engineering (MAS Intimates – Unichela Private Limited) – Thurulie

Over the last three and a half decades – MAS Intimates has differentiated itself in the global fashion industry through its innovation mindset, strong technical competency, and sustainability initiative. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and an energetic individual to join the team as an Executive Industrial Engineering (Executive Work Level). This role would enable you to Improve manufacturability by standardizing both machine & method, with the product development team using PPA process, chassis & autonomation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership at PDRA (Product Development Risk Assessment), MI (Moulding Integration), FI (Factory Integration), Pp (Pre-Production)
  • Ensure the availability of the Tech Pack with PPA champion
  • Continuously look for automation options to de-skill the operation at Pre-Production stage
  • Continuously look for ways to reduce machine requirement for layouts and ensure machines available for production
  • Prepare layout, Yamazumi version 1 and machine setting STW
  • Execute chassis base manufacturing
  • Certify Team Members are trained up to the expected standards before PSD
  • Identify opportunities to optimize operational work content allocated to TM to increase productive with the same footprint
  • Trial out a mini bulk run of the identified optimized & automated opportunities to certify the manufacturing feasibility of the identified opportunities
  • Prepare the total style pack and hand it over to the Plant PPA Champion and ensure the availability of the style pack for FI/MI
  • Engage with internal & external suppliers to ensure all the required automated solutions are available at all respective plants for productions
  • Be on alert for abnormalities in shop floor and engage in resolving them
  • Adhere to compliance, health and safety procedures during the entire physical/chemical testing processes to maintain zero accidents.
  • Align with projects relating to MOS (MAS Operating System) to achieve the required standards.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic Engineering Degree
  • GSD License certification
  • Strong analytical skills with an innovative mindset
  • Knowledge on industrial engineering
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing plant
  • Strong & excellent communication, leadership skills & interpersonal skills 
  • People management skills Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing tools
