Role Overview:
As an Executive in Branch Banking at our Puttalam Branch, you will ensure smooth branch operations, coordinate with regional and head offices, and support the Branch Manager in various tasks. This role requires in-depth knowledge of banking operations, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Regional Office and Head Office to ensure smooth branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Oversee cash management, including foreign currency, ATM operations, balancing, and insurance requirements.
• Monitor customer service provided by operations staff and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and FIU requirements, and carry out CBSL reporting as necessary.
• Coordinate branch campaigns to canvass new business.

Candidate Prerequisites:

• Full/part qualification in Banking from IBSL.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in commercial banking, with 3-4 years in branch operational functions.
• In-depth knowledge of banking policies, procedures, operational processes, foreign exchange transactions, compliance, and internal controls.
• Strong marketing, sales orientation, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and a flair for public relations.
