WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXECUTIVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

We are seeking a young, vibrant and dynamic individual who pays great attention to detail to be part of our winning team at our Corporate Head Office at the World Trade Center. He/she will manage LKR and USD payments, ensuring timely delivery and meeting deadlines with a strong commitment to excellence. This role involves handling accounts payable for our 12 manufacturing plants and will involve liaising with foreign suppliers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of commitment with a track record for hard work, and the ability to succeed in a challenging, dynamic environment.

The job role will include:

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for both LKR and USD payments whilst ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, expense reports, and other financial obligations.
• Maintain and update vendor files, including contact information and necessary documentation and foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a smooth payment processes.
• Adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Prepare and maintain various reports, including aged payables, cash flow forecasts, and payment schedules for our 12 manufacturing plants.
• Demonstrate commitment to on-time delivery and achieving deadlines consistently.

The right candidate will be a young, self-motivated individual and will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or part qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of local (LKR) and international (USD) payment processes.
• Experience in handling accounts payable for multiple manufacturing plants is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills whilst demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
