Consultant – Material Management

John Keells Information Technology (Pvt) Ltd (JKIT), the consulting and professional IT services arm of John Keells Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerate, is seeking a talented and motivated Consultant – Material Management to join our dynamic team. JKIT focuses on Strategy, Consulting, Digital, Technology, and Operations to large multinational companies worldwide, delivering award-winning solutions to some of the biggest names in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The selected candidate will report to the Practice Manager.

Responsibilities:

As a Consultant – Material Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing SAP Material Management subject matter expertise for implementation and support.
  • Working closely with the SAP project team in configuring, implementing, and supporting the Material Management modules correctly.
  • Providing expertise and insights into business cases in Material Management within the industry where the business operates to assist the client in having the proper SAP Business and Functional configuration for the MM module.
  • Getting involved in Pre-sales activities.
  • Getting involved in Full Cycle project implementations.
  • Staying updated with the latest SAP versions and their functionalities to propose SAP best practices to customers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • A minimum of 2 full cycle of SAP implementations and support (Implementation experience in S/4 HANA Cloud will be an added advantage).
  • Experience and integration knowledge in other SAP Modules i.e., Warehouse Management, Extended Warehouse Management, FICO, Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, and Business Intelligence.
  • A certification in SAP Material Management in ECC or S/4 HANA On Premise or Cloud.
  • Experience in S/4 HANA and Cloud are preferred.
  • Experience in Ariba or certification or experience in SAP Warehouse Management, or Extended Warehouse Management would be an added advantage.
