Location: Remote (UK-based client)

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
H Connect International, a leading BPO company and a subsidiary of the Hirdaramani Group, is seeking an experienced Associate Manager – Finance Operations to join our team. This role involves leading and overseeing a finance team to ensure accurate and timely execution of all financial tasks. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, financial reporting, client communication, compliance, process improvements, and mentoring team members to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the team ensuring accurate and timely execution of all finance tasks.
  • Prepare and analyze management reports to support decision-making for clients.
  • Work independently to onboard finance processes seamlessly by asking the right questions from the client and proactively identifying roadblocks.
  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Take full ownership of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
  • Handle email correspondence and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Communicate regularly with clients via email, chat, and video to address inquiries.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Proactively utilize problem-solving skills and critical thinking to address potential and existing operational challenges.
  • Identify non-value-adding activities and process improvements to streamline processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting or part qualification in a professional qualification like CIMA/ACCA.
  • 4 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero is a must for this role.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
