The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager – IT to join our Kandy branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing IT strategies, managing IT infrastructure, and providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies to meet organizational needs.
• Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Supervise and guide IT staff to manage their respective areas effectively.
• Manage and maintain LAN and WAN networks, IT labs, servers, firewalls, CCTV, and other IT equipment.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses for necessary upgrades and monitor vendor performance.
• Train stakeholders on software and hardware usage, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
• Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure.
• Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks.
• Direct help desk activities to ensure user IT needs are met promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
• Exposure to IT infrastructure management is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience at the Assistant Manager-IT level, handling IT management-related tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems.
