Role Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join our Internal Audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing internal audits, evaluating control adequacy, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. This role involves collaboration with external auditors, regulators, and management to deliver high-quality audit outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute internal audits according to the established schedule, assessing control adequacy and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing the annual audit plan, Audit Committee reports, and monthly country reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor audits performed by regulators, external auditors, and other assurance providers.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports and participate in discussions with management on issues and remedial action plans.
  • Support the Head of Internal Audit in delivering the overall audit plan and reporting to committees and senior management.
  • Follow up on management’s remedial actions on audit findings and verify corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of follow-up activities and audit results.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of four years of internal/external audit experience or five years in the insurance, financial, or related industries.
  • Relevant professional qualification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of audit tools like TeamMate, ACL, and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and their role in audit processes.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to achieving results.
