About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant/Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers the opportunity to manage critical accounting functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working with modern ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Daily cash flow management and financial reporting
✔ Maintain accurate General Ledger entries
✔ Process supplier payments and ensure timely settlements
✔ Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packs
✔ Reconcile balance sheet accounts with supporting schedules
✔ Assist in annual audit processes and compliance
✔ Support warehouse accounting and inventory transactions
✔ Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Requirements:
- Professional Qualification:
- Part/Full qualification in ICASL/ACCA/CIMA
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accountancy from a reputed university
- Experience:
- 2-3 years as Assistant Accountant/Accountant
- FMCG/Manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on ERP system experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Personal Attributes:
- Age: 30-40 years
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
Salary Range:
- LKR 200,000 – 220,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
