Job Description

This opportunity is uniquely presented to those who aspire for a fascinating career in Aircraft Maintenance at SriLankan Airlines.

The Program will be specialized to upgrade your expertise from piston engine maintenance to the maintenance of pressurized gas turbine aircraft used in modern commercial aviation. This training is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for success in our dynamic environment.  You will undergo a training program during which you will be paid an apprenticeship allowance. Duration of the training programme will be one-year. The training program will develop and prepare you for the career as a Junior Aircraft Technician.

Requirements

A CAASL IS 147 or EASA Part 147 approved full-time basic aircraft maintenance course in Category B1.2 conducted by a CAASL IS 147 or EASA Part 147 approved Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation.

And

6 passes at GCE O/L with 4 Credit passes (or equivalent) including credits for English, Mathematics and Science obtained in one sitting. (The credit for English may be obtained at any sitting)

Be a Sri Lankan citizen.

Upper age limit: 35 years as at 20th September 2024 which is the closing date.

Candidates who excel in the selection process will be offered a training contract. Upon successful completion of the training period, candidates will be employed as Junior Aircraft Technicians. Both the training and subsequent employment will be subject to a bond.
