Position: Accountant
Department: Finance

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain forecast P&L, cash flow, and budgets.
  • Monitor actual costs versus budgeted costs to identify variances.
  • Ensure the correct allocation of labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
  • Assist in cost estimation and pricing strategies for tenders and bids.
  • Analyze contracts and ensure revenue recognition is done according to agreements.
  • Track accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Liaise with procurement and supply chain teams to manage cost-efficient purchasing.

Candidate Profile:

  • Partially qualified in CA, CIMA, or ACCA, or fully qualified in AAT or CMA.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project accounting within facilities management, engineering, or the construction field.
  • Strong understanding of project costing, WIP (Work-in-Progress), and revenue recognition.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage communication with stakeholders effectively.
