Senior Executive – Sample Room IE
(Based at Bodyline – Horana)

carried out through Lean initiatives/ industrial engineering principles and autonomation solutions in
the development processes to increase productivity and maximize incentives whilst minimizing costs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure continuous improvement of the sewing operation through lean and industrial engineering principles and related tools to maximize the utilization of man, material & machine, and standard it across value streams.
- Ensure optimal utilization of the autonomation solutions whilst carrying out Kaizen activities to create maximize productivity
- Lead the weekly operation plan minimizing bucket loss in the operation with optimizing sewing capacity.
- Ensure the effective coordination with planning and relevant operational teams to make sure the optimum capacity utilization to maximize productivity and incentive outflow.
- Apply methods and process innovations to reduce costs and improve productivity to generate high profits
- Standardize operations and layouts and minimize change-over loss during the operation. Analyze similarities and maintaining a standard chassis to give directions to planning team for appropriate style plan to enhance productivity.
- Participate for risk mitigation discussion with the relevant technical team to ensure early preparation for identified risks and subsequently, smooth and standardized operations at the sample room.
- Identify innovative methods and improvements for the operation.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as & when requested by the Management
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- University degree or diploma with 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- An understanding of manufacturing process and textile properties.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of pattern making, Bonding, and mounding or GSD license are added advantage
