Position: Management Trainee – Information System Audit
Company: Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB)
Focus: Dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join the CDB team, contributing to the organization’s technology governance and risk management initiatives.
📝 Key Responsibilities (What you will do)
Perform IS Audits across key technology platforms and systems.
Evaluate the effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, cybersecurity measures, and data integrity.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, ISO 27001, and other applicable Information Security standards.
Review system development practices, change management processes, and access controls.
Support the implementation of control gaps and opportunities for improvement in IT infrastructure, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
Conduct special reviews and investigations.
🎓 Experience & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field from a recognized university.
Certification (Plus Point): Full or full qualifications in ISO 27001 (ISMS). Other relevant certifications are an added advantage.
Experience (Plus Point): Minimum of one year’s experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, or within the banking & financial services sector.
Skills: Good communication and analytical skills.
