About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting operations with exposure to both commercial and warehouse financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ledgers
- Process payroll including EPF/ETF calculations
- Handle accounts receivable/payable functions
- Review quotations and finalize customer invoicing
- Oversee warehouse financial operations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and annual reports
- Implement internal controls and compliance measures
Requirements:
- Education:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or
- Part qualification in CA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience:
- 1-5 years in commercial sector (audit firm experience preferred)
- Technical Skills:
- QuickBooks proficiency
- Advanced Excel skills
- MS Office tools
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication abilities
- Excellent planning and project management
Salary Package:
- LKR 130,000 – 160,000 (Net)
- Negotiable based on experience
