About the Role:
Richard Pieris Finance Ltd, a leading financial service provider and a subsidiary of the prestigious Richard Pieris and Company PLC (ARPICO Group), is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Executive – Internal Audit to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting periodical audits, evaluating controls, preparing audit reports, and following up on remedial actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct periodical audits in assigned branches and departments as per the annual Audit plan.
- Execute audits and evaluate the adequacy of controls according to established schedules and quality requirements.
- Prepare audit reports and participate in discussions of issues and remedial action plans with appropriate levels of management.
- Follow up on management’s remedial actions on audit findings and verify whether the actions mitigate the identified risks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of audit experience in the financial sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting from a recognized university or part qualification in a professional body (ICASL, ACCA, CMA, or CIMA).
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
- Dedication to building a career in internal audit.
- Knowledge of internal controls.
- Should be a good team player and effectively interact with peers, management, and other internal customers.
