About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager/Assistant Manager – Risk Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive risk management frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive risk management frameworks encompassing operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Conduct systematic risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in strengthening data privacy frameworks and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
- Lead the development and enforcement of data protection policies, overseeing best practices in governance, cybersecurity, and risk controls.
- Ensure alignment of risk management strategies with industry standards and regulatory mandates.
- Continuously monitor key risk indicators and deliver strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance internal control mechanisms.
- Prepare in-depth analytical reports detailing risk landscapes, mitigation strategies, and compliance adherence.
- Establish and lead a robust Business Continuity Management (BCM) program, ensuring organizational preparedness for disruptions.
Job Pre-Requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline).
- A master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Professional qualification in Finance, Risk Management, or Business Continuity Management is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Risk Management and/or Internal Audit.
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of risk governance, regulatory compliance, and business continuity planning.
