SENIOR EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE – ACCOUNTS (MALE)
Job Description
We are on the look-out for a competent Senior Executive / Executive – Accounts for our client which is a leading company that is based in Colombo 04.
Responsibilities
- Daily Reporting & Invoicing: Manage daily collection reports, release sales orders, handle invoicing and maintain trackers (Receipts, Orders, LC, Refunds etc.)
- Debtors Management: Oversee overall debtors management, matching invoices with receipts, aged balance follow-up with Sales Team, drive monthly outstanding discussions with Sales Team.
- Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Reporting: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, prepare weekly cash flow reports and coordinate with banks for discrepancies.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly bad debts provisions, manage SVAT schedules, bi-annual balance confirmation from customers and ensure compliance.
- Risk Evaluation & Process Improvement: Conduct risk and control evaluations, implement process improvements, and drive automation initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Age below 35 Years
- Degree in Accounting & Finance or Part qualification in CA/ ACCA/ CIMA
- Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role
- Knowledge in SAP, ERP system would be advantageous
- Having a very good knowledge of MS office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated individual with good time management skills
- Preferably candidates reside in Colombo or near area for easy commute
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience to the right candidate.
