Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-focused Executive for Product Development to join our Marketing Department. This role involves leading the new product development process and ensuring our product portfolio remains competitive and relevant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the New Product Development and Product Review Processes.
  • Prepare and disseminate product papers for evaluation and approval.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and adherence to the Bank’s policies.
  • Seek innovative opportunities to enhance the Bank’s product offerings.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of the Bank’s product portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Address and resolve product-related inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage performance metrics and Management Information (MI).
  • Design and maintain dashboards to monitor product performance.
  • Share periodic updates and recommendations with senior management.
  • Engage in product-related research projects to identify market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with research teams to enhance product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Full or partial qualification in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL) is required.
  • Full or partial qualification in Marketing from SLIM or CIM is advantageous.
  • 5-6 years of experience in the Banking sector, specifically in Branch Banking or Operations.
  • Proficiency in project management and analytical skills.
  • Innovative and creative mindset with keen attention to detail.
