Position: Junior Tax Executive
Department: Finance/Tax

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Tax Analyst in ensuring global tax compliance and completing operational tax workings for Intrepid brand companies.
  • Compile monthly data for tax calculations for Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Germany.
  • Collaborate with global DMCs (Destination Management Companies) and Finance Managers to obtain relevant information for monthly tax effect accounting calculations.
  • Ensure that correct tax policies and procedures are followed.
  • Support the Lead Tax Analyst in data compilation for Local IRD tax audits and queries.
  • Engage in tax balance sheet reconciliations and journal processing.
  • Receive tax-specific training to enhance your knowledge and performance in the Tax function.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting, finance, or tax role.
  • Undergraduate in Accounting/Management or studying towards an equivalent qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Basic understanding and/or experience in Tax is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong desire to pursue a career in tax.
