Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial and regulatory reporting policies, ensuring compliance with International and Sri Lankan Accounting Standards.
  • Develop and manage company budgets, conduct variance analysis, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement financial strategies based on past and actual performance reports.
  • Ensure accurate tax computation, reporting, and timely submission of tax returns to the Inland Revenue Department.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, regulatory bodies, and external analysts.
  • Ensure the finance function is well-resourced and drive performance management, training, and development within the team.
  • Promote cost efficiency and continuous process improvement in financial operations.
  • Uphold ethical standards and financial integrity as a role model within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fully qualified in CA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in the manufacturing sector being highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in office packages and ERP systems.
