Position: Manager – Industrial Engineering
Department: Industrial Engineering

Role & Responsibilities:

• Apply industrial engineering principles to optimize complex processes and systems in the garment industry.
• Maximize the effectiveness of the IE Department by monitoring and managing IE executives’ duties and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals and activities.
• Report to the IE General Manager and focus on achieving KPIs.
• Utilize methods such as 4M+1S (Methods, Man, Machines, Material, Space) for optimum resource utilization.
• Focus on ECRS (Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange, Simplify) to enhance value-added processes.
• Engineer workstations, re-engineer work aids, and innovate methods.
• Apply GSD (General Sewing Data) to each line and operation.
• Simplify styles and improve methods post-order confirmation to reduce labor costs and increase profit margins.
• Implement automation and modern machinery to simplify methods.
• Ensure continuous improvement by measuring operator and line capacity against company standards.
• Maintain skill development through planned trainings, focus training, cross-training, and skill matrix maintenance.
• Adhere to QCO critical paths and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate company standard information and provide data analysis for KPI trends.
• Ensure adherence to social compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Textile, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
• Knowledge of GSD (General Sewing Data).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• ICT literacy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
