Our client is a highly reputed company based in Colombo, known for its excellence in the apparel sector. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Supply Chain Officer to join their leadership team and drive supply chain efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and distribution.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of supply chain activities.
- Utilize SAP or other ERP systems to enhance supply chain visibility and decision-making.
- Drive change initiatives and implement best practices to stay ahead in the competitive apparel industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in supply chain management within leading apparel sector companies.
- Proven expertise in sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or other relevant ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to drive change and implement best practices for supply chain efficiency.
- Candidates must be below 45 years of age.
