Company Overview:
Our client, a reputed company located in Homagama, is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join their team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales, particularly in the Chemical or Paint industry, who is eager to drive business growth and build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement forward-looking sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand the business.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key existing customers to retain and grow business.
  • Contribute to the development of new services based on industry trends and customer feedback.
  • Explore opportunities in new business environments and potential segments.
  • Conduct continuous sales performance evaluations to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the technical applications of current and new products.
  • Generate business support information, including competitor analysis, market statistics, and trends to aid decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • GCE Advanced Level qualification is mandatory.
  • Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any Engineering-related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant sales experience in the Chemical or Paint industry.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to inspire and achieve business goals.
  • Proactive with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities for positive change.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to face challenges and achieve success.
  • Excellent people management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented, well-organized, with strong project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Working Hours: 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (Note: Flexibility required for customer visits and engagements).
  • Working Days: 5 days a week.
  • Work Mode: Onsite.
  • Location: Homagama.
  • Salary Range: Rs. 150,000–Rs. 200,000 based on qualifications, plus fuel allowance.
