Position: Software Engineer – .NET

About Us:
We are partnering with one of the leading software companies located in Dehiwala to find a skilled Software Engineer specializing in .NET technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in VB.NET, C#, .NET Framework 4.0 and above.
  • Good knowledge about Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Well-versed with ASP.NET, MVC, SOAP, XML, JSON, Web Services, ASP.NET Web Forms, and RESTful Services.
  • Troubleshooting tools and techniques, problem solver (Technical/Process/Other Challenges).
  • Evaluated features like API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Services Bus, Queue.
  • Understands web application migration to Microsoft Azure and has done a solution migration.
  • Cloud feasibility assessment with an ability to propose optimal cloud solution on Azure.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in developing applications using PaaS components like “Web Apps”, “Web Jobs”, “API Apps”, Functions, “Mobile Apps”, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.
  • Hands-on proficiency in deployment on Azure and other Microsoft platforms is mandatory.
  • Experience in planning and executing migration programs to Azure and hybrid landscapes.
  • Experience in designing cloud solutions for scalability, high availability.
  • Expertise in designing secure applications on Azure.
  • Proven ability to communicate with an audience at all levels.
  • DevOps knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures/Algorithms.
  • Experience writing modular/reusable code.
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong expertise with HTML5, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Experience with Responsive Frameworks like Bootstrap/Flex.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize and refactor existing codebase for better performance and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
