About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded company located in Colombo, operating within the apparel sector. They are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Supply Chain Officer to lead their supply chain operations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a visionary and results-driven Chief Supply Chain Officer to lead and optimize our client’s end-to-end supply chain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the apparel industry, a proven track record of driving operational excellence, and a strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy to support the company’s growth and profitability.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of 1 senior leadership experience in supply chain management within an apparel sector leading companies.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP or other relevant ERP systems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to drive change and implement best practices for supply chain efficiency.
  • Candidates must be below 45 years of age.
