: Technical Assistant at The Open University of Sri Lanka

The Open University of Sri Lanka is seeking applications for the post of Technical Assistant in the Department of Computer Science, located at the Colombo Regional Center (CRC).

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this post, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Education: NVQ Level 02 or a GCE Ordinary Level examination with 6 passes.
  • Language: Ability to read and understand English.
  • Experience (Advantage): Prior IT-related working experience would be an added advantage.

Remuneration and Duration of Appointment

  • Salary: A fixed monthly allowance of Rs. 25,000 (inclusive of a Cost of Living allowance).
  • Benefits: Appointees will be entitled to EPF and ETF.
  • Working Hours: Normal working days are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Duration: The appointment is initially for six months and is extendable up to four years based on performance.
