About Us:
Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC (MBSL) is a well-established financial institution and a subsidiary of Bank of Ceylon. We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented individual to join our team as a Staff Assistant/Junior Executive in the Recoveries department.

Role Overview:
The Staff Assistant/Junior Executive – Recoveries will be responsible for managing write-off arrears, collecting rentals, and liaising with outsourced agents to maximize recoveries. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact write-off arrears customers and collect rentals through MBSL branches.
  • Handle write-off customer inquiries over the phone.
  • Follow up with monthly paying write-off customers.
  • Liaise with outsourced company officers to maximize write-off collections.
  • Provide relevant write-off information to outsource agents.
  • Release security documents (Original CR/Deed/Permit) to settle Micro (ADCsL) customers and update the deed list.
  • Upload bulk payments for Micro (ADCsL) customers paying through the BOC account.
  • Issue settlement and balance confirmation letters to Micro (ADCsL) customers.

Qualifications:

  • G.C.E (A/L) Examination with 3 passes and 1 year of experience, OR
  • G.C.E (O/L) Examination with 2 years of experience.

Remuneration:
A performance-based remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate, based on qualifications and experience.

Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 30 years.
