WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SENIOR MERCHANDISER
LOCATION – SEETHWAKA
We are Orit Apparels Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of the global apparel giant Indochine International, and a leading manufacturer in the apparel sector. With state-of-the-art facilities and a people-driven culture, Orit has built a strong reputation as one of South Asia’s largest denim manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the merchandising process from order receipt to shipment.
- Communicate effectively with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor samples, approvals, and production progress.
- Maintain accurate records, costing, and order tracking.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient follow-ups.
The right candidate will be a young, self-motivated individual and will possess the following:
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the apparel sector (woven/denim garments preferred).
- Age between 25 – 35 years.
- A strong team player with a high level of motivation and commitment.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages with sound computer literacy.
- Good command of English (written & spoken).
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain.
