The Intern – Product Development is responsible for executing the sample development process, including costing and sampling, for the assigned styles. This includes ensuring the timely submission of costings, samples, and T&A plans to maximize profitability while closely coordinating with cross-functional internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with team for developing full costings as per customer/category and PLM activities.
- Assist in planning the development of the garment sample based on tech pack specifications, RM ordering, timelines, etc.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for costing/sample development and RM ordering as per customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers for costing/sampling/RM approvals, including documentation and handover requirements to the Bulk team.
- Ensure effective and timely communication with customers to secure business.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate in Fashion Designing/Clothing Technology/Business Administration or Marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A good team player with excellent communication skills.
