As the Manager — Embellishment, you will be responsible for managing the cutting and embellishment functions to ensure timely availability of cut panels and embellished pieces in the right quantity and quality as per the production plan. The role includes driving process improvements, optimizing material utilization, managing manpower, and achieving functional KPIs while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety guidelines and organizational protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate embellishment techniques (printing, embroidery, appliqué, heat transfer, sequins, stones, beading, patches, wash effects) and create development samples for buyer approval.
  • Analyze artwork, fabric, and cost constraints; prepare detailed spec sheets and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Develop trims with suppliers and maintain a strong supply chain for quality embellishments.
  • Provide accurate cost and consumption analysis; suggest cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
  • Troubleshoot issues during bulk execution; conduct PP meetings to ensure smooth operations.
  • Guarantee compliance with customer standards, durability, colorfastness, and safety requirements.
  • Plan and monitor development timelines; ensure on-time delivery and efficient coordination across teams.
  • Research global trends, introduce new technologies, and lead training sessions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Clothing Technology.
  • 6 to 9+ years of experience in cutting and embellishment operations, including leadership responsibilities.
