Intern— Design

As Intern— Design, you will be reporting to the Manager — Design of the SBU. You will support the Design team with trend research, concept development, sketching, detailing and translating into samples.
Responsibilities
- Participating cross-functionally and gaining an understanding of the role of design in the product life cycle.
- Identifying the steps that designers go through in designing a line including trend research, concept development, sketching, detailing and translating into samples.
- Learning more about the day-to-day tasks accomplished by a designer including sketching, creating tech packs and line sheets, communicating with cross-functional teams and preparing for seasonal presentations.
- Providing research, maintenance and support for assigned departmental projects and tasks.
- Participating and providing feedback in group meetings and discussions if applicable.
- Creating technical sketches (CADs on Illustrator) and BOM creations.
Qualifications
- Graduate/ undergraduate in Fashion Designing / Clothing Technology or any other relevant stream.
- Good team player with excellent communication skills.
