WE ARE LOOKING FOR A

IE Executive

LOCATION – EMBILIPITIYA

We are Orit Apparels Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of the global apparel giant Indochine International, and a leading manufacturer in the apparel sector. With state-of-the-art facilities and a people-driven culture, Orit has built a strong reputation as one of South Asia’s largest denim manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan manpower allocation, skill development, and machine/attachment requirements in advance.
• Support new style introductions by trainee operators, arranging workplace layouts, and communicating SMV and target efficiencies.
• Perform technical and cost reconciliations post-production and provide insights for process improvements.
• Conduct line balancing, capacity studies and implement method improvements to enhance productivity and reduce SMV.
• Monitor daily production efficiency and organize performance review meetings with the production team.

The right candidate will be a young, self-motivated individual and will possess the following:

• Degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Textile & Apparel Technology.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the apparel sector (woven/denim garments preferred).
• Age between 25 – 40 years.
• A strong team player with a high level of motivation and commitment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, knowledge of sewing operations and Excellent Communication Skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
• Hands-on experience in IE tools, SMV analysis, line balancing & Productivity Improvement.
